Adityanath also ordered all units producing oxygen to provide it for medical purposes and to stop supply for industrial purposes in light of the increased demand.
He said there was adequate oxygen availability in the state and added that oxygen units should be powered on 24 hours a day so that there are no barriers to production.
The chief minister also called on authorities to double the number of beds in districts with a high number of COVID-19 cases.
